Quick Overview

3rd Cavalry Regiment Combat Service Identification Badge (CSIB).

The 3rd Cavalry Regiment's original insignia was a trumpet, not the crossed sabers of other dragoon regiments, which were the only other mounted units in the Army at that time. The trumpet surmounts the crest on the Regimental Coat of Arms and appears on the present day Regimental Distinctive Unit Insignia. The 3rd Cavalry Regiment CSIB, also commonly referred to as "the bug" due to its shape, displays the motto "Brave Rifles"

New CSIBs will be added as they become available so check back often!
