Quick Overview

Replica SWORDSMAN Badge Lapel Pin - Great for the Stetson or reenactment uniform!

Considered one of the "holy-grails" of the qualification badge collecting fraternity, these replica badges are created with a two-tone antique bronze base and the sword is plated with a blackened silver finish. The back has a safety pin clasp like the original. The U.S. Army Swordsman badges were originally issued in 1914 and 1915, the sword in the center was designed by then Lieutenant George S. Patton, and was used in the Master Swordsman course that he developed for the Army.Only two men per troop could win the 1914 bar, running the best number of points in Patton's qualification course.
