As a bit of background, I'm both a retiree and a mustang. I was an enlisted scout for about nine years before taking the green to gold route to the dark side and commissioning as an infantry officer. Apparently you just can't fix stupid.
Anyway, I got back to the line about the time that our local Cav unit (my old unit) cased its colors, so I never had a reason to participate in funny hat friday and my gold cord stayed proudly on my stetson.
I medically retired this year and, in the process of setting up my new home office, I found that I was doing a disservice to myself by not proudly displaying the infantry blue cord on my stetson.
I ordered from CavHooah, the items arrived quickly and in great condition, and I am proudly displaying my stetson again as I sip coffee and stare out of my office window.
Fits perfect no issues. Color is good and stitching seems well
