CavHooah Cattleman Cavalry Hat

I reached out to CavHooah after I was notified last minute that I needed to get a Stetson / Spurs in order for a change of command ceremony. I live in an area where there is no possibility to get the complete Stetson / Cav setup in person without driving half a day. I was only four days to get this in order. I called CavHooah spoke with Bob, explain the situation. Bob spent a lot of time on the phone with me, piecing everything I needed and personally arranged overnight shipment. The Stetson and Spurs arrived just in time for the ceremony. And just to further validate how “Army” the story is, once I arrived at the ceremony location, I was advised that a last-minute decision was made that the color bearers would NOT actually be wearing Stetson and Spurs after all…. regardless, CavHooah and Bob were extremely professional and accommodating.

I loved the hat. I was proud to wear it when I was with our Cav unit

Fairly small but still good looking nonetheless, and smells very nice 🤠

The hat itself is gorgeous well made upon installing the chin strap the metal oval on the right side popped out with zero issue the left side amazing held nicely a shame with the price that you do need to worry about it pulling out so easily especially being we wear these pretty constantly in active duty ive superglued it back in for now but still an issue being essentially un fixable (in a nice way) at home.
